A Bell 407 has completed a flight around the world, pole to pole which is a feat in itself. The 407 has also set a national record and entered  the 'Limca Book of Records'  for  carrying out the most number of high altitude helicopter sorties- 463 shuttles  in  a  Bell 407 helicopter from Baltal  (2,895 m above sealevel) near  Sonamarg to Amarnath Caves (3,810) in Jammu & Kashmir, ferrying about 2,000 pilgrims to and fro.

The 429 is the latest addition to the Bell fleet. It has been certified recently by TCAA, FAA, and EASA. Deliveries worldwide have commenced; in India deliveries are likely to commence from Third Quarter of 2010.
